about this painting:
This painting makes me think of someone ripping away the white paper to reveal the color beneath. Or... ya know that scratch paper? It's got kind of a black waxy surface and when you scratch it off it reveals the color below it? Yeah, like that! But then, it also looks like a distant landscape with a bright orange sunset and a green sky. hmmm... I can't make up my mind.
