about this painting: I've got this thing about lava/magma. The blacks and oranges and reds and yellows of molten rock flowing like liquid capture my attention like little else. Fire & Stone #5 is one of the many attempts to capture those colors and texture and life. Like the "Simple Landscapes" I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with the results of my attempts.
